This online GIS database provides a number of base maps with relevant information for users such as an elevation map, topographic map, satellite map, soil map, land use map, forest cover change map, population density map and agricultural potential map. Users can observe the information at different scales ranging from the entire provinces, district level, sub-district level and village levels. The site is a valuable resource to a wide range of stakeholders working on the formulation and execution of the Khammouane Development Strategy (KDS).

First Chinese Language Mango Application Launched!

The “Xuyong Atlas” MangoMap application has been successfully launched to support the Poor Rural Communities Development Project (PRCDP) in Sichuan Province, China. This web-based mapping system provides a land cover, infrastructure and village basemap for Xuyong County linked to the project investments for the PRCDP.
